Me and my family just a new 5 month old mixed shephard and terrior. We got some puppy pads for him to use.. but he doesnt really use them. We don’t have a doggy door.. and our backyard has no grass areas and a pool. He ate about 10 minutes ago.. and peed right after under the kitchen table. Any tips or helpful info you could tell me about dog training and getting to go to the bathroom outside? Thank you. |

… and to judge the finale, they chose… a fashion designer… a designer vintage clothes store owner (or something like that) and some other fashion-related person??? Really, if they were looking for the smartest person there, should they have not asked more objective questions to measure the contestants’ intelligence? Shouldn’t they have asked more intellectually inclined people (like professors or scientists or literary geniuses) to crown the winner? Instead they chose people who were impressed by a dog metaphor… and relied purely on their subjective impressions to decide who is the smartest. Ugh, no wonder that creep VJ won. … I’ll get over it tomorrow. |

I am 16 and this summer looking into getting a job / gig. The problem is that I am an active person, love to be outdoors / doing more physical stuff (I practically live at the barn, but I can’t do work there because of my feet problem). I have a problem with my feet that makes it hurt to walk and I am getting surgery soon so I can walk a little bit but not very much and it hurts to stand up too long. Some things about me: I love art Love animals (horses, dogs, cats, etc) ok with kids but can’t spend too much time w/ them without going crazy cant stand sitting in a building all day, though i guess i would at last resort don’t really like clothing / fashion what are some good / unique / interesting job ideas? I was thinking of selling art but I am supposed to keep my art for my AP portfolio so that might be out. |

We just got a new 11 week old Rottweiler. I am not a dog person, and I don’t know too much about training. Any tips would help. A specific question I have is: He likes to lick hands, and once and a while rubs his teeth on them. A little love nip I suppose. Should I stop that completely, or should I train him to keep it nice and not bite hard?? Im thinking if he keeps it nice, it will get him used to having hands in his mouth for when we need to pull out the rocks he chews on and brush his teeth. Advice? |
